With a versatile career spanning film, television, theatre and voice, Vancouver based Sarah Edmondson continues to cultivate and explore a path into the creative unknown...

On the independent feature front, Sarah has recently garnered two Leo nominations. The first is for her comedic role in Awkward, a film about a dinner conversation that takes an unexpected twist. Awkward played at the esteemed Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and will also be screened in Montreal at The Just For Laughs International Comedy Festival July 16-26, 2009. Sarah's second Leo nod is for her portrayal of a thwarted newlywed in another festival fave Sparklelite Motel.

As well, Sarah’s abilities as a vocal chameleon can be heard in various projects from national radio spots to lead roles in animation series like Transormers Cybertron and Class of the Titans. In between gigs, Sarah is currently adapting her one woman theatre show Dead Bird for the big screen.
